Shay Simoneau utilitzed a 4th place starting position to earn himself his first victory of the season in the Budweiser IMCA Hobby Stock division. Simoneau was followed across the line by week 1 winner Eric Cross, Jason Cleveland, and Cody Williams.

Cleveland bested his previous record in his heat race to take the win with the best 1 lap time of 21.601.

Williams would get the job done in heat 2 and also tie the 6 lap record set by Cleveland in week 1 with a time of 2:16.218.
